The company offers online courses for Filipino learners

In its efforts to support aspiring entrepreneurs, electronic cigarette multinational RELX International has launched an online academy offering business courses.
RELX Academy offers entrepreneurship courses designed by top universities.

The Philippines was selected as the pilot area for the launch of the RELX Academy, largely due to the strong presence of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country. RELX Academy, in partnership with edX, offers specially curated courses from top universities such as the University of British Columbia and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, among others. Some of the more than a dozen courses that participants can take online include Entrepreneurial Operations: Launching a Startup; Become an entrepreneur; Corporate foundations; Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your client? and more. Attendees can also look forward to special free webinars with renowned speakers as part of the bonus program with the RELX Academy. In addition to equipping entrepreneurs with the skills and know-how necessary to succeed in business, RELX will also provide Academy graduates interested in operating a RELX store with additional support and guidance, in the form of design and furniture support as well as promotion and opening training – including waiver of limited-time franchise fees.
