IIT Guwahati Offers Online Cybersecurity, AI and Deep Learning Courses for Professionals

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will launch postgraduate certificate program in cybersecurity and postgraduate certificate program in artificial intelligence and deep learning. The programs aim to improve the careers of working professionals.

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent grades and at least two years of work experience in IT or software development would be eligible for the course. Applicants will receive certificates issued by IIT Indian Guwahati and Times TSW upon completion of the program.

These programs incorporate live, instructor-led sessions conducted on weekends by top experts from IIT Guwahati and faculty members from TimesTSW, as well as industry experts. Students will participate in a Capstone Project where they will demonstrate the skills they have learned in solving real-world business problems and include a five-day immersive learning experience on the IIT Guwahati campus.

The Cyber ​​Security Program is an 8 month course and aims to train learners for positions such as Network Security Specialist, Cyber ​​Security Analyst, Cyber ​​Security Architects, Cyber ​​Security Manager and leading to leadership positions such as Manager information security.

The Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning program is a 9-month course focusing on topics such as Python programming, data analysis, neural networks, computer vision and image recognition, etc. It will help candidates prepare for positions such as AI and ML Engineer, Computer Vision Expert, Software R&D Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer, among others.
