1]Insert a colored photo

Launch power point.

Change the slide layout to a blank slide.

Go to insert and click on the Image and choose an image from your device or online images. In this tutorial, we choose a colorful photo from online images.

Add a new slide layout (empty), then right-click on the photo and select Copy.

Paste the photo into the new slide layout.

3]Remove background from colored image

Click on the first slide and click on the image.

Go to the aspect ratio tab and click the Remove background button.

The focal point of the image will remain while the rest of the image takes on a magenta color.

If you want to keep certain areas of the photo, click Mark areas to keep; a pencil will appear to draw a line over the area you want to keep in the photo.

If you want to remove certain areas of the photo, click Mark areas for deletion; a pencil will appear to draw a line over the area you want to remove from the photo.

Now select the Note the changes button.

If you don’t like the changes you’ve made, click the Discard changes button.

Select the second slide, where the copied photo is, right click on the photo and select To cut in the context menu, then paste it on the first slide.

Click it aspect ratio tab and click the Color button in the Adjust band.

In the Recolor section, select Shades of grey.

The image is converted to grayscale.
